Desi was such a big eejit but I can honestly say that I never saw him with a frown on his face. No matter what he was always laughing. His favourite trick when he came around the corner of our house was to lift up his teeshirt and show me his big belly. Ugh!! John and Desi were a pain in the arse to me when I was a 'big girl', thinking I was something - they were after all six years younger than me and up to all sorts of devilment. But I loved him....he always managed to make me laugh. I was glad that all my kids met him....he made them laugh too - although I think at times they didn't know if they should take him seriously. He was an adult after all. Or maybe not...........!!
